33across.com, the leading social targeting platform, announced today that industry veteran Matt Arkin has been appointed as President. Arkin will join 33Across' executive team that also includes the newly hired Allie Savarino Kline, VP of Marketing. Arkin will oversee all revenue and operations, as well as help guide the strategic growth of the business. He will report to Eric Wheeler, CEO of 33Across.
"33Across has grown over 400% in the past year, and Matt's industry knowledge and depth of experience will help us continue to scale at an accelerated rate," said Eric Wheeler, CEO of 33Across. "Both the online and offline advertising industries are awakening to the strong business value of social targeting. With Matt joining our powerhouse executive team, we are in a position to significantly expand our customer base and deepen our relationships with the 350+ global brands we currently service."
"When I experienced what the 33Across was doing building marketers an actionable Brand Graph that plots the consumers most likely to become brand loyalists, I wanted to be part of the organization," said Matt Arkin, President of 33Across. "Unlike any other platform," explained Arkin, "33Across is focused on helping advertisers 'crack the code' on how consumers' increasingly social routine can predict brand favorability and purchase behavior. It's no surprise that the company's reputation is as strong as it is."
Matt Arkin brings over 18 years of online media sales and operations experience to 33Across. Most recently, Arkin served as Chief Revenue Officer for Sojern where he led all revenue and media operations. Previously Arkin headed Sales and Operations at TACODA for three years, and then was SVP of Sales at AOL/Platform A. Prior to that, he served as VP of Sales at MarketWatch.com for seven years. Under his leadership, his team was listed in Forrester's studies as one of the most productive and top growing teams in the country. He has been recognized as an innovator in the online advertising industry and has been cited in dozens of industry publications. Arkin graduated from California Polytechnic University with a BA in Marketing & Management.
Allie Savarino Kline comes to 33Across from Brand Affinity Technologies (BAT) where she oversaw the company's brand development, marketing, and athlete & celebrity relationships. Prior to BAT she ran global marketing for Unicast, the definitive leader in rich media advertising for over ten years. While at Unicast, Allie was named as one of Fast Company magazine's Fast 50 for her work in advancing the use of video in online advertising. Allie was at InterVU before Unicast and led marketing through its IPO and subsequent $2.8 billion sale to Akamai.
